PREPAC® in technical terms

Meeting environmental regulations with Baldwin PREPAC

Until recently, printers could meet air emissions standards simply by switching to water-based inks and low VOC press chemicals. But as regulations tighten, new and more effective methods are needed. As a result, we have seen a tremendous demand for both automatic blanket and automatic impression cylinder cleaning systems. By using PREPAC, under typical pressroom conditions, annual VOC consumption will be virtually eliminated.

Because the cleaning agents are completely contained in the roll, PREPAC virtually eliminates solvent handling, lowers the costs of consumables and minimizes waste.
